Q: DO YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS OUTSIDE OF CHARLOTTESVILLE?

Q: WHY ARE YOU IN CHARLOTTESVILLE?
A: The answer to that question requires it’s own page.
Q: WHAT’S WITH THE NAME YELLOWFISH?
A: Years of research went into choosing… Actually, one of our founding partners’ has the last name Gilbert…which began as Gelbfish, which means “yellow fish” in Yiddish. We all liked it and viola!
Q: WHY DIDN’T YOU NAME YOURSELVES SOMETHING COOL, LIKE CREATIVE DESIGN SOLUTIONS.
A: Ugh! If you have the word “creative” in your name…you’re not. We didn’t go with “design” because it’s limiting. What if we wanted to sell fish sandwiches or lead tours of famous peoples’ graves? As Yellowfish we have options. So, what do you want on that sandwich Mr. Sinatra?
Q: AND THE WHOLE “SLEEP WITH THE FISHES” DOMAIN NAME?
A: Well, the jag off who owns yellowfish.com won’t sell it, so we were forced to come up with an alternative. As fans of the Godfather, it wasn’t long before someone brought up the scene where “Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes”. We all liked the dark humor, and the double entendre. We grabbed the domain just in case we didn’t find anything better. We didn’t.
